Sian Mix:
Born in Dublin Ireland, raised gypsy style in southern Spain,Sian,aka Graham Goodwin chose early to drop out of society,make music and be saved by art, committing to the avantgarde way of life,he lives like life is golden.
Sian releases mainly with Karmarouge and his own imprint Octopus,he has also made notable records for Pokerflat Einmaleins,Dessous,and has been remixed by Steve Bug,Sweet n Candy etc.
Total workaholic spaced out nature junkie,He is known for wild DJ sets and a unique flair behind the decks.
His DJ-ing adventures have taken him all over,from the nicest clubs and festivals in Europe to upcoming dates in Canada, South America, Australia and beyond.
After two albums and several singles with electronica labels,then records for Pokerflat,Dessous,Karmarouge,Dirtcrew and Einmaleins, He has gathered great press attention from Mixmag,Groove.de,DJmag,IDJ,De:bug, XLR8 etc,with airplay from mian stations and presenters covering worldwide dance music shows (recently his tracks have been playlisted on 3 essential mixes for BBC1).His tracks end up in the record boxes of all the main techno/house luminaries,and He has received great feedback from the likes of Ame, Laurent Garnier, Ripperton, Funk Dvoid, Patrick Chardronnet, Shinedoe, Dj Koze etc.Demand is now heating up for his remixes including projects such as Looselips/Audiofly,Sebastian Roya,Satoshi Fumi,Alex Meier and Vegetable Orchestra project(remixers on this project are Dominik Eulberg,Luciano / Villalobos)
New studio projects are underway such as remixes including Gabriel Ananda,a full length album,due in 2008 and a collaboration with Funk Dvoid.Upcoming releases include records for the much respected Japan label Mule and also for UK label Simple/Aus, featuring an Efdemin remix.
This year he will also launch Octopus, his new imprint, starting with an EP by Sian, remixed by none other than Gui Boratto.
The schedule for Octopus will include remixes and tracks by artists Herve Ak,3 Channels,Calculus,Ripperton,Laurine Frost and MrStatik.
